About the Author

Catherine Martin, Ph.D. is a Professor of Theology at the College of St. Elizabeth, Morristown, NJ. Earlier she spent many years as Director of Religious Formation at St. Raphael Parish, Livingston, NJ. Co-Director of the original RENEW Office in Newark, NJ, she has authored a number of Faith-Sharing Booklets for Small Christian Communities, including: Building Christian Community, Preparing Your Child For Baptism, and Strengthening Family Life, in addition to the RENEW Leadership Book.
